Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia is partnering with Hands Across Texas for a Sandy Hook Memorial Benefit Concert. The funds received for the event will benefit Newtown Youth and Family Services providing counseling and other family related services for those impacted by the tragedy that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary. The Sandy Hook Memorial Benefit Concert is set for January 27th, 2013 at Papa’s Ice House in Spring, Texas. The doors for the event open at noon and goes through 10:00 pm.

For those attending the event, there will be BBQ, live music on two separate stages, a silent auction and raffle, a 50/50 drawing, event t-shirts sold, activities for children (2 moonwalks, face painting, and balloon making clowns), and much more. Major sponsors for the Sandy Hook Memorial Benefit Concert include Keller Williams The Woodlands and Magnolia, The New 93Q Country, Papa’s Ice House, Dominos Pizza, Coca Cola, Crystal Clear Sounds, Ron Carter Clear Lake, ¬†and Pit Row BBQ. 100% of the money collected at the event will be donated to the charity. The admission to the event is free.

Hands Across Texas is a grass roots volunteer organization that was started nearly 2 years ago by a group of friends/acquaintances in The Woodlands and Montgomery County area who wanted to do something to help groups of people in the community who had a significant urgent need. Other recent accomplishments of Hands Across Texas include a benefit raising money for those impacted in the recent Wildfires of Montgomery County, and a benefit for the Schuchardt family (The mother was shot outside a pediatrician’s office and her baby was kidnapped).
